Here’s the cover of my story about @callahan_katie and @ninadawsss on their Global Health Program trip to Uganda from the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. It was such a great experience to be embedded with the med students and doctors for a few days, capturing their lives during their time in Kampala. You can read the whole articel and see more photos here in the online article in Vermont Medicine.
The first year students were based at St Stephen’s hospital in Mpwere, a small town on the outskirts of Kampala. The small hospital gave the students a chance to do a bit of everything, directly interact with patients, and learn from the doctors accompanying them.
