The Ice Hotel in Quebec City is truly a wonder.  I have made the trek up north a few times to shoot this amazing spectacle.  Each year artists are asked to create rooms within the Ice Hotel, turning snow into fantasy.  Think Dr. Seus goes to the arctic.  While I know that not everyone loves ice and snow, winter is my favorite season and I can’t think of many things better than spending the day (or night) in a complex made of snow.  It’s well worth the trip.
