If you were wondering why I was so busy this summer and fall, here’s part of the reason. Working with the creative force and editor, Krista Washburn, of Vermont Vows and WellWed Magazines, we shot, and shot, and shot some more to fill the pages of her magazines (15,000 photos give or take). Krista, whom I have known and worked with since their second issue (10 years ago! Yikes), created amazing table tops, tablescapes, vignettes, flower arrangements and more details and scenes than you can possibly believe. Over the years we’ve developed a tight working relationship. Along with a hefty dose of improvisation in her creations and my shooting on location with fading light, rain, wind, and all the other challenges of location work, I think we came away with some really solid results. The magazines look great, and I’m glad to be so prominently featured on two covers (out of their five magazines), and throughout the magazines. At some point I will write a post about how these were created photographically and go in depth into the technical side, but this post is just to show off a few pages.
Here’s a few shots of the magazine that I just got my hands on, Vermont Vows and WellWed New York, with my cover photos.
