Here are some photos from the last few days with a group of business people from Yaroslavl, Russia, Burlington’s sister city, here to meet with similar businesses in Vermont. After a week of meetings and tours of Burlington and the surrounding area, they were treated to a relaxing sail on Lake Champlain and a bbq hosted by Howard and Barbara Seaver (my parents) for everyone who helped make their trip a success.
For more information, check out the Sister City Facebook page.
There will be upcoming trip to Yaroslavl in early September, 2010 to celebrate the city’s 1000th anniversary. If you’re interested in joining the group, get in touch through the Facebook page.

And then the real show began. The fields were lit by thousands of blinking fireflies, the most I’ve seen in years and a real treat for the guests.
